Montagnard washing next to Gia Vuc well

One of the accomplishments I'm most proud of, while at Gia Vuc, was fabricating a water pump for that well out of a Briggs and Stratton motor, a pumper carb, sheetmetal, O rings, silicon sealant, an impellar and PVC pipe.
Some of the parts had to be ordered from the C Team. I had plenty of help from talented teammates. I have slides showing it in action.
When I was in the Delta the small B & S and Tecumsah engines were everywhere propelling small watercraft. The VC used them as much as the regular folks.
We collected quite a few during our interdiction activities.

The village in the background is Ap B (Ahp Bay). Ap A (Ahp Ahh) is just out of the picture to the left. The two were separated by only the dirt road to Ba To. Ap A was on the N side and Ap B on the S.
